Hello, everyone! This is one of our SUZUICHI staff members, a self-proclaimed health nut ♪ Today I’m introducing a healthy recipe 💡
It’s called
Vinegar Peanuts
Apparently, eating peanuts together with vinegar may offer a variety of health benefits, starting with helping to prevent high blood pressure, as well as helping to prevent rises in blood sugar and cholesterol ✨

Vinegar peanuts have been talked about on TV and in books in Japan, so please give them a try ♪
How to Make Vinegar Peanuts
① Put 120 g of skin-on peanuts (unsalted) into a lidded jar sterilized in boiling water.

② Pour in 180 ml of vinegar (brewed vinegar). It’s fine as long as the peanuts are covered.

③ Close the lid and store in the refrigerator. They’re best after about 3 days of soaking ◎

If you don’t like sour things, adding a little honey to taste makes them easier to eat.
The sweetness of the peanuts goes nicely with the mild tartness of the vinegar, and they also make a great little side to refresh your palate between bites at mealtimes.
Why not start a vinegar-peanut habit for your health, too? ✨

Products Used to Make Vinegar Peanuts

[Great-Value Medium Kernels] A Week’s Worth of Skin-On Peanuts
These are the skin-on roasted peanuts I used this time. They’re medium-sized kernels, so they’re a good value, yet they have the full, delicious flavor of peanuts from Chiba, Japan, which makes them easy to keep eating every day.
