In English, it is spelled Peanut. The plural form is Peanuts with an &#8220;s&#8221;. The plural form Peanuts is closer to the way we pronounce it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"> Japanese or English, that is the only difference by definition. But! It is also often referred to as Rakkasei in its name as a plant and in conversations with farmers. Among them, we have the impression that the way customers call peanuts differs considerably depending on their age groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> The older generation uses &#8220;peanuts,&#8221; &#8220;Rakkasei,&#8221; and &#8220;nankin-mame&#8221; all. Middle-aged to younger customers tend to use &#8220;peanuts&#8221; and &#8220;Rakkasei&#8221; but not &#8220;Nanking bean. This difference lies in <strong>cultural differences<\/strong>. Peanuts are English and Rakkasei is Japanese, so the <strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">appearance and<\/span> way of eating peanuts seem to be different <span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">because of the different food culture in<\/span> that <span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">language area or region<\/span><\/strong>.
